RE free motion/embroidery foot for Standard Slim treadle - 

These are indeed rare. I have a couple of sets of attachments for the Slim, an early one (1890s?) and one that came with my 1912 treadle. I see this foot in the manuals, but have never seen one. I actually fared better getting extra chain stitch parts for the Slim. If you do ever come across one you will be lucky indeed.

I actually, believe it or not, found the etching foot and feed cover plate in a box of
Wheeler and Wilson attachments. For a very low price. Everything was in the unmarked
W&W box, otherwise I think the price would have been more.
