Does it fit the VS2 or something else entirely?

Neat!

I've got Parsons Hemstitchers for several machines,  but only a box for the WW8 one.

The fatter one, upper right is what fits the VS2

I would be interested in trading my New Home version for your WW8 version, either that or I need to find an EARLY new home handcrank....

(I love the look my wife gave me when I said that i needed to find a machine to go with this attachment....)

It would be fun to set up a site ONLY for "significant others" of members of the VSS site...  You HAVE to have a partner with a membership here to sign up there!!!!  LOLOL

opps- that should be WW9,   not WW8.

the one in the upper left fits New Home.   I think I've got a few more since I took that picture.

Just for fun... I found a piece about 'Hemstitching by Machine' on page 7 of the November 10, 1900 issue of "Sewing Machine Times" I'm not sure which link will work but you should be able to find at either http://digital.hagley.org/islandora/object/islandora%3A2009519#page/1/mode/1up or http://digital.hagley.org/sewingmachinetimes_10913_vol_x_no_231

Kruse - anyone know anything about them?   I've got one of all the others mentioned on the front page,  but that one isn't listed in the reference books I've been checking.

Steve,  I thought you'd be after an older New Home machine.

I like that the article refereed to real hemstitching machines made by Singer and WW,   My Singer hemstitcher is still one of my favorite machines.

Yep, but this dates to 1896 (qualifies) and was $40....

I would love to find an old "Square corner" New Home handcrank
