Found this odd reverse on Singer 27. Plan to go look tonight after chores. Anybody know about reverse pull knob? It has label on arm, but can't read around corner. Knob "Pull for Reverse"

Assume turning controls stitch length. Perhaps better than Revco?

It isn't the typical Revco attachment based on either the Myers 1950 patent 1412475 or Abos' 1951 patent 2562009 which both were assigned to Revco Products.. It appears to be similar to Gilbertson's 1941 patent 2235552.

According to a lawsuit in 1949:
https://www.leagle.com/decision/1949105781fsupp9761792

Reverse Stitch Manufacturing Co., a limited partnership composed of Robert B. Myers, Laurence M. Stanfield, and Armand J. Roux as exclusive licensee of the patent in suit, and Grant G. Gilbertson, the inventor of the patented device.
It was against California Reverse Stitch Co.

So it could be either a Reverse Stitch Mfg. Co (later known as Revco Products) or a California Reverse Stitch Co. product.

Thank you for information.

Last evening we traveled from Rockvale, to 10 miles north of Mc Minnville, TN. The machine was loaded at dusk, so first look this morning. Hope to finish a couple of projects, then service, test, dig into the machine to learn more. Turn of knob to left frees in-out motion, turn right locks setting.

Found linkage broke. It works by offset of fork roller using excentric. Parts from spare 27 used to replace back to stock. The machine works great. Will add to my 27 collection of quail, and tiffany.
