I am a member of our local quilt guild and ever year they put on a fabulous show.  I love seeing all the quilts and always am so inspired to try new things!  This year was amazing!  I had submitted several quilts into the judging and also had a couple for guild competitions.  My quilts did very well this year!  All of the ones set to be judged placed well and three were chosen as favorites by VIP's!  The topper of the day Sunday was winning the People's Choice Award for my Elephant Abstractions quilt!  I felt like I was walking on clouds all weekend.

Thank you!  I like the rooster too.  I call him Muy Frio.  He was accidentally created when I was trying to create a Muy Caliente for our guild competition.  I couldn't let go of using that cool patterned fabric that was controlling the design lol!  I finally gave in to it and after finishing the first, I created the second which was entered into the Muy Caliente competition.  It won second place.  The first place winner created an adorable bag with hot guy fabric Ahahaha! Oh my gosh Christy!  Love, your creative ideas--and quilt titles.    You get first place in my pick of winners.

I would love to take a master class from you.  Will you teach me?

Thank you Deb and Mavis! Oh Mrs. D, I am certainly not ready to teach a master class!  The only things I am master of are the seam ripper and stubborn determination!  I have a feeling you are a more relaxed and natural quilter than I!

Fantastic work Christy! It was hard for me to pick a favorite, I love all of them. You must be over the moon to have so many winning quilts in one show.
