VERY nice machine! The ironwork legs are stunning! This table could easily blend in a posh Victorian drawing room

Have to put the belt on, leather on the bobbin wonder and the foot straps. Right now I'm refinishing a 1896 Singer cabinet.

Sew lovely. What a find. I remember seeing a Florence in one of the older movie versions of "Little Women", but don't remember if it had Fancy Legs. I Like the feed going side to side. What's a foot strap? Does yours do reverse too? Here's a youtube showing someone else, whose Florence was found without treadle nor original clothplate, cranking hers:

The foot straps was leather and went across the toe area on the foot pedal. It kept your foot from slipping off. Don't know if it does reverse.

Love the lucite cloth plate in that video. I'm thinking of trying to do something similar for my 101 -- that machine has wonderful mechanicals, and the design is well suited for a lucite replacement.
