I'm not aware of any dating information on Domestic made Minnesota A.   This was made about 1914 to early 20's.  Minnesota A was Sears top of the line model and made by several different manufacturer's.

Thanks for the reply’s gentlemen, it seems like the same decals as Mr. Belvidere’s but the inspection cover is a different shape and the thread rod is centered on mine. Not sure about the wording.

Is there a web site where Minnesota serial numbers can be looked up to determine age and manufacturer? I've used ISMACS to look up Singers. Also curious if there are manuals online anywhere. Thanks!

Thank you for the links to the sewing machine manuals Mr Belvidere. I will certainly pass it on!

I have virtually the same machine.  This New Minnesota A model was made from roughly 1913 to early 20's by Domestic. New Minnesota A by Davis made from 1909-1913. Later model Domestic New Minnesota A has Aug 10 1920 patent date on front slide. No Domestic dating records until mid 20's when they were bought out by White.
My serial number is located under the slide plate by the needle.  The number is either 147756 or 47556.  Trying to get the wood sanded so we can stain it.
