My recent White VS3 acquisition came with two shuttles, both with the usual post, and 6 hollow spindle bobbins.  One shuttle is quite unusual, in that it threads from the left side, with the thread slot machined across the race side of the shuttle.  Threading the shuttle is also unusual, in order to get the thread across to the right side.  Both shuttles work fine in the sm.  Are these left handed shuttles common, as this is the first that I have encountered.
