This is next up to go on my frame. I made this top 9 or 10 years ago. It was a mystery quilt-along on the old About.com quilting forum. My lack of experience really shows. The 4 fabrics looked good together on the table, but I can really now see what I should have done differently. I never was all that pleased with how it turned out and that's probably why it's taken this long to get around to quilting it.
My goal for this year is to get at least one quilt a month on the frame and done, no matter how many tops I continue to make. I think I quilted only 3 quilts last year.
S5030389.jpg  Sorry it looks so washed out. The lighting in my sewing room really sucks.

It's a very sweet quilt, Cari. And with a mystery qal, it's got to be hard to figure how the chosen fabrics will play with each other depending on where they get placed.

Cari, your quilt is excellent, and you put lots of work in those blocks.  Wow.

Your piecing skills look great to me.  As for attempting a mystery quilt, I don't think I could dive in and make one....I would sure hate it when I was done.  I love knowing in my mind what that pattern is supposed to look like and have a color scheme in mind ahead of time.  That doesn't mean mine have always gone as planned....[smile]
