Acquired this machine the other day just starting to give it a little clean and oil and learning about it any information would be helpful. There are some missing parts not sure if all what's missing.

What a nice example of a Howe.  I don't remember seeing the saying on the back of the arm before.

I have one of those, too. I also love the "I serve, I tire not". Mine isn't as clear as yours, but it is there. 

Mine has a different tension, the one I think of as "clothes pin" tension because that is what it reminds me of.  [smile]

My husband and I visited Eleanor and Dick Beck while on vacation in FL quite a few years ago and I was lucky to buy this machine and a Jones HC from her.
