Gladiola is listed as a sewing machine made by Lithgow Small Arms Factory NSW.

Now, I'm going to go read about it.

Lithgow Small Arms Factory, NSW, a weapons factory through WWII.  Reorganized after the war to produce sewing machines.  NSW New South Wales, a state on the east coast of Australia.

Of course! Thanks Mrs D. I totally forgot about Gladolia and Australia. Dame Edna Everage would always shower her audience with these flowers after a show. She was/is so funny.

That's a beauty!  I love the stitch length regulator.  Is there reverse?  It looks like it would be possible.

Thank you every one for your help.  Rodney haven't had chance to try it as yet. On a page in Australia someone messaged to say that it is like  Lada, from Czechoslovakia.  Doing more research with lots of information to read. Thank you everyone.
