Please would someone tell me or signpost me to information about this item? It's a metal circular hoop that looks like the wooden hand embroidery ones. I'm not finding info online 🤦 I'm hoping the VSS hive mind will know lol

I would like to know what era/date range it's from, any info really and if commonly found?

I've not seen one before and ones turned up in a box of vsm bits my friend has inherited, vsm sadly went to the tip via another relative so no help there!

No photo (yet), will post if I can get one.

Many thanks
Lizzie

According to https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/86603/ the last number would be three instead of five.

I'm guessing that it may be from the 50's. http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/manuals/singer-sewing-skills-reference-book.pdf page 34 doesn't actually list the part number, though.

Thanks Janet for the serial number correction, I was going from my friends email. Very helpful!

Wonder if there are many of them about?

Pretty sure I have one of those.  I will look and post a picture if I do.
