You know how we wonder what machine takes a set of new found mystery cams, or what cams fit a vsm we just couldn't resist?

I saw this today, and thought it may help someone in the future.

Sometimes finding cams and then machines for them happens, sometimes the opposite. My wife found some cams at Goodwill a while back, mulit-colored pastel in a tin. I looked at the photo section of a forum I was with at the time as I remembered seeing something like them and found them - they fit a White 1563, so we looked for and found a White 1563. Then later, I found a White 565 and discovered it takes the same cams. Nearly identical machine except for the color, it also has an automatic bobbin winder clutch as opposed to the 1563 that has the traditional clutch knob.

Later, while at a thrift store, I found a set of 30 small, grayish white cams and bought them. Looking through the same photo files, I discovered they fit a Dressmaker 2402, so we got one of those.

I had been looking for cams for a Kenmore machine and found what looked like a boxed set of them on Etsy, so I bought them. When I got them, I found they were smaller than the Kenmore - sort of like Kenmore cams that had shrunk. I searched and found they fit an Arrow sewing machine. So I searched for an Arrow. Later, I discovered they also fit Dial & Sew machines, which are the same machines badged Arrow. The Dial & Sew came from Shopgoodwill.

Lori there's a cam group on FB. It's mostly pictures, Teena set it up just for this very reason, to help match cams to the machine(s) they fit. She probably already has this one, but you might want to let her know just in case.......
