I had made arrangements with a local seller to pick up this W&W #8 on Saturday mostly to protect it.  The knob showing in the back of the arm indicates that this is one of the 1st W&W #8's made.  They used a flat leaf spring for the presser foot, but only for the first few months.  This is also in a stunning treadle with the full width back extension

I also JUST entered into Escrow yesterday (2nd try!) so I am REALLY not supposed to spend money if I can avoid it.

I am planning to cancel my pickup with him this evening or tomorrow UNLESS someone here wants me to get if for them and can Venmo or Paypal the funds to me soon.

$225

If you weren't over 3000 miles away, and I didn't already own one...   ;-)

Actually, the seller has decided to wait until my escrow is over.  I'll pick it up then.
