I found this Willcox & Gibbs earlier on shopgoodwill.com. The write up says some parts missing. I was looking at it and decided I did not know enough about it to bid. In looking at the photos, is there anything missing besides a treadle?

Photos are here http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/VintageAntique-Willcox--Gibbs-Sewing-Machine-27713499.html

Other than the spool holder,  I don't see anything else obvious.   As to a base,  I'd suspect this was in a case with an electric motor (which is normally attached to the base).  So you'd need to either find a motor or a hand crank to put on it.   None of what is missing is going to come cheap either,  unless you luck into a machine in bad shape that comes with everything.
