Heh gang, back again. You've all been a lot of help so another question. I have the machine up and running and finally received a replacement belt today. Question is, which pulley on the treadle stand and which on the machine. Each has two. I have searched for about an hour online and can find no definitive answer. I can only assume (dangerous word I know) that there are two on each to adjust the speed and torque/pressure while operating the treadle. Of course, being who I am, I not only want to know which is correct but as well why two and which two for what. Thanks again for the assist I know will be coming shortly. Dave

The pulleys on the left will make the machine run slowly, hence more torque.  The pulleys on the right allow for more speed.  Fit the belt to either set of pulleys, and the belt can be shifted over to the other pulley set, and fit properly.

In case it's not clear -- he same length belt will work on either pair of small/large or large/small pulleys.
